Hey All

I can't believe we are headed into the last week of September. Back in May, when Monte left, the end of the year seemed so far away. We're in the finally stretch now and Monte, the boys and I are so glad. We are so ready to all be together again and begin to enjoy our Smith family adventures again.

We haven't done much this past week or so. Just the usual things like school, soccer practice and soccer games.

The new fall TV season is really getting going now. It was great to watch House, Bones, Grey's Anatomy and Fringe again. The best thing though was Flash Forward. Have any of you watched this show? If not, you should. I was so excited to see the pilot episode and now can't wait until next week for the next one. I'm telling you, this is the next big hit. Its on Wednesday's at 8 pm. If you're not watching anything in particular at that time, check it out. I think you will like it as much as Brady and I do. I can't wait for Monte to get home so he can catch up with the first set of episodes and watch with me. I got him addicted to Lost and I think he'll get addicted to this show too.

Well, that's about it for now. Nate's dying to get on the computer for his hour and then it will be Brady's turn. Have a great football Sunday tomorrow. GO PACK GO! God Bless! :)

The New Me

Well, I finally did it guys, I cut my hair! About 9 inches came off to be exact and I LOVE it! I think I'm going to keep it this length for awhile too. I could not not go back to the hair salon that I went to anyway. After James (my new hair guy) washed my hair, he massaged my scalp and my neck. It was like a mini spa afternoon and so very relaxing. I think I'm going to have to show Monte how to massage my head and neck that way too. I could definitely go for that more than once a month or so when I need to get my hair trimmed.

Well, I guess that's about it for now. I know this post was short, but its Sunday and the boys and I have football and NASCAR to watch. GO PACK GO! Have a great day everyone. God Bless! :)

First Soccer Games of the Season

Here are some picture's of the boys' first soccer games from this past Saturday. Brady (#39) is on the United team and Nathan (#27) is on the Fury team. Neither one of them won their games, but they both played really well. Brady was always pretty good at soccer and Nate has gotten a lot better since he played in Idaho. He's not as afraid to get into the mix and go after the ball. I was a very proud mom on Saturday.

Have a great week everyone! God Bless! :)

Mini SFA & Scene's from the Soccer Field

The boys and I went on a mini SFA (Smith Family Adventure) last Saturday. We headed east and ended up in Morehead City. We didn't do much other than stopping at a couple stores to look around and then had dinner at the El Zarappe restaurant for dinner (the enchilada's were excellent by the way). That was about it, but it was great to get out of the house for a few hours. On the way back, we stopped in Swansboro. The sun was beginning to set and the water was a little choppy. I just couldn't resist taking a couple of pictures.
Here are some picture's from Brady's soccer practice the other day. He practice's from 6:30 pm to 8 pm Tuesday's and Friday's. He's doing pretty good and I think he's on a pretty good team. His coach really loves soccer and the kids are really coming together as a team. I believe the first games are on Saturday, September 12th. Nate's doing pretty good in soccer too. He loves going to practice on Monday's and Thursday's (5pm-6pm). He hates that he has to come with me to Brady's practices. He says its just too boring for him. Poor baby....NOT! He brings Hot Wheels to play with and when he's done with those, he poses for me and acts goofy like you know Nate always does.
Yes, this is the view from the soccer fields. Can you tell how tough a job it is for me to sit there 4 nights a week and watch my kids play soccer? Ha Ha
Well, that's pretty much what we've been doing this past week. Now that school is back in session and soccer has started, we don't have much time for anything else.
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend everyone! God Bless! :)
