Amen!

A few years ago, I began having an interest in politics. I was never really interested in the workings of our federal government before and only voted in presidential elections. The local and congressional elections didn't interest me. I think it was because of Monte being in the Marine Corps. We are both registered to vote in Montana, but because we don't live there yet, it wasn't important to me. Well, I am looking back now, at my foolish youth, and wish that I had taken more interest back then. I'm not a registered member of any political party, but do tend to lean towards the republican side. I like to think of myself as a moderate conservative.

So, I am beginning to get very concerned about the path that our country is being led down. I am not happy with this president or this congress. They seem to be going about their business as if the American people's wants and desires are of no importance. They were given their jobs by the people and should be doing the business FOR the people. There are so many things that I could list here that I'm concerned about, but I think the link below explains it all.

I got the link in an email from some friends this morning and felt that I should share it with you on the blog. Please know that this is not about the democrats or the republicans. This is about our country and not letting it be taken away from us or changed into something we DO NOT want. America is still the greatest country in the world and it needs to stay that way. God Bless America and God Bless each one of you. I love you all and thank you for listening (reading) my thoughts. Have a great week everyone! :)
