Monte left for his 7 month deployment on Sunday. It was hard to say goodbye, but now that he is gone, we can start counting down to his return. We don't have a definite date, but it is supposed to be around the first part of December. The boys and I are the Three Musketeers again and we are doing fine. We miss Monte, but are proud of what he is doing and will be staying busy so the time goes by quickly. I sent an email out with his ship email and mailing information. If you did not get it, email me and I'll make sure I get it to you. Ship life can get very boring and I know that Monte would love to hear from everyone.
I received notification on Friday that the boys got into the summer camp I signed them up for. They both were so excited to hear officially that they got in. I was okay with it before, but now that I know for sure that they are going, I'm getting nervous about leaving them. I mean, what am I going to do for 7 whole days without them? Thank goodness we have Sophie now and I won't be totally alone. It will be good for them though and they are going to have so much fun!
