Hey Everybody. Just a quick post to let you all know we're still here. Monte was sick with a really bad cold/sinus thing and now he's passed it on to me. I was fine yesterday, but now its kicking my butt. My head feels like its floating and I have so much drainage going on right now that my stomach is upset and my throat is becoming raw. Then there's the constant sneezing, itchy eyes and stiff/achy neck. Boy, being sick is so much fun....ha ha.
Needless to say, we didn't do much today. We did have an appointment at the ceramic shop though. The Family Readiness Officer for Monte's unit put together this activity for the kids. They got to paint a mug that will be fired and ready to give to their dad's when they get back from this current field exercise. Brady and Nate had a great time and want to go back sometime to paint something else. Nate already has a dog picked out that he wants to paint. After the ceramic shop, we went to the commissary to stock up on Kleenex, Claritin and juice. All the necessities for getting over this cold/sinus thing. I was pretty much done after the commissary and we went home so I could lay down. And, that's pretty much what I have been doing since we got home. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow.
