Anyway we got on the road at noon and drove out of Montana and into North Dakota. I was suprised as it is actually a lot prettier than I expected it to be. They still grow wheat, but aslo grow sunflowers. Fields of nothing but sunflowers, what a pretty picture.
We stopped stopped at the Minot AFB in Minot, ND. It was weird being back on a military base. Monte and I were talking about how its going to be an adjustment for us to get used to base rules again. We stopped there because we needed to go to the commisary as the food supplies in the camper were getting low. It was great shopping in a commissary again. We got a lot more things for our $71 than we would have at Super 1. Brady took some pictures also, which I have posted below.
Minot was a really pretty town and we thought if we ever got stationed there, we wouldn't mind so much at all. After stopping at the base and getting some dinner at Hardee's, we headed South on Highway 83 and pulled into Bismarck, ND at about 9:30 pm for the night. The kids are excited about the playground and the swimming pool. I am excited about the showers, the laundry facility and of course, the Internet access.....yeah!
So that's about it for day 3. We plan on touring Bismarck for a few hours today, after leaving the KOA, and then heading to Bloomington, Minnesota. We are so excited to go to the Mall of America! We are going to stay the night in a hotel Friday, so I will have Internet access and will update the blog then. Take care everyone!

Hi Beth!
I am so glad you have a blog! This is so fun! I love the opportunity to keep in touch! Our kids really are missing having yours around! They are having a boring summer, and I am very excited for school as you may have noticed!
I am glad you are having fun and getting to be with your family. Your yard looks good, they are taking good care of it. It is weird not having you guys live there, it seems so empty.
Good luck! Keep in touch!
Amber
